1. COUNTRY MANAGER -KENYA AIRWAYS
Job Description

To sell the Kenya Airways product and network to achieve the set sales target within the country

•       To drive the sales and marketing plan for the country to deliver the budgeted objectives
•       To monitor and recommend pricing levels in the country to maximize yield and revenue
•       To identify new sales opportunities and take steps to implement them for new revenue streams
•       Develop and service trade partners to maximise loyalty and revenue generation
•       To be the principal administrator for Kenya Airways in the country while safeguarding KQ interest

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

•       University graduate in a relevant area of study
•       Minimum of  5 years airline experience in sales and marketing of which 2 must be at a senior sales level
•       Computer literate with valid driving license
•       Ability to lead and motivate a team
•       Strong analytical skills
•       Good negotiator and ability to influence
•       Proficiency in a foreign language will be an added advantage

  2. PRINTING AND PERSONAL SYSTEMS-COUNTRY SALES MANAGER-KENYA AIRWAYS
Job description

  • Manages and develops printing & computing business (partners & corporate accounts) in Kenya by executing the defined go to market strategy.
  • Builds well targeted business plans and strategies driving sales activities to achieve targets
  • Leads in planning quarterly sales strategy; allocates targets across partners and sales representatives; deploys and follows-up on plan execution during the quarter
  • Contributes to unit sales plans, works with Category teams on fine tuning unit plans;
  • Analyses market and competitive offerings and proposes price adjustments to the Category teams
  • Helps his team to develop tactical account plans; ensures alignment with overall country strategy
  • Promotes & manages strategic programs and focused sales of strategic products
  • Achieves forecasted monthly order, shipment and sell-out targets within prescribed accuracy for printing and computing products
  • Maximize ROI of MDF deployment to develop sales with measurable and aligned activities
  • Assesses and manages employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence; counsels and supports individuals through selling challenges; manages performance and results of high and low performers
  • Nurtures and advances the talent required to maintain HP sales force excellence within area of control; sponsors and directs skill building activities to increase the productivity and accomplishments of the sales force


Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. MBA desired
  • At least 10 years or more of channel / enterprise sales management experience managing a quota in Kenya in printing or PC business
  • Understanding of the specificities of the Kenya printing / computing business landscape with special emphasis on sub-distributors, SMB resellers, retailers & corporate customers
  • Experience leveraging internal sales and external channel partners to provide a total solution to the market
  • Track record of building and deploying successful sales strategy
  • Proven ability to build strong sales plan and accurately forecast business
  • Strong and consistent track record of account management and sales performance
  • P&L and risk management skills and experience required
  • Proven sales and team leadership experience with strong skills to manage performance and develop talent

 
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Highly developed business development and negotiation skills
  • Prove ability to drive sales in a complex country
  • Solid knowledge about channel / vertical industry business drivers, behaviours and models
  • Proven ability to provide timely and accurate forecasts

3. NETWORK QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD AT GOOGLE

As the Network Quality Assurance Lead, you will define and oversee network quality initiatives, identify risks and communicate goals and expectations to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Operate across a myriad of internal Google groups and external organizations to ready and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Lead quality process improvements and quality assurance tools development that result in efficiency and efficacy gains.
  • Manage the quality control process to produce a value-engineered design, removing all obstacles in construction and operations.
  • Manage and enforce engineering quality and compliance with the design specifications. Work on all quality assurance processes required to achieve long term sustainability.
 

Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BSc degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience of both wireline and wireless protocols technologies and solutions.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of quality assurance systems and processes.
 

Preferred qualifications
  • Excellent analytical skills and a tenacious problem solver with extensive knowledge of Telecommunications projects and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to successfully work across multiple levels of the organization.
