1. POSITION: PERSONAL SECRETARY III - 4 POSTS
Reports to: Head of Division
Contract type: Contract for unspecified period of time
Job Purpose: To provide secretarial services to Head of Department and administer departmental office support functions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Providing administrative and office support to the Head of department including handling appointments and travel arrangements;
b) Managing phone calls, fax and emails directed to the Head of Department;
c) Attending to visitors/customers of the Head of department;
d) Typing letters, memos, reports and other documents as required;
e) Handling files, documents (routine and confidential) including non routine information appropriately; f) Distributing files and documents to relevant officers and parties within the department and outside as instructed;
g) Assisting with organizing meetings and planning official events;
h) Operating and assisting office staff in operating photocopier, scanner and other equipment;
i) Making requisitions and maintaining inventory of office supplies and office equipment machinery;
j) Performing other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education/Professional Qualifications Required:
a) Diploma in Secretarial studies from an accredited training institution;
b) Certificate of secondary education examination with passes in English and Kiswahili.
c) Must have shorthand/hatimkato speed of 100 w.p.m. as well as typing speed 50 w.p.m.;
d) Good team player;
e) Strong organization skills;
f) Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.;
g) Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Good customer service skills.

2. POSITION: ESTATE OFFICER III: –1 POST
Reports to: Head of Division.
Terms of Contract: Contract for Unspecified Period of Time.
Location: Mtwara Branch.
Job Purpose: To carry out the Branch’s estate management and administration activities Primary
Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Planning curative and preventive maintenance works for the estates, machinery and equipment in accordance with laid down routine schedule;
b) Preparing specifications and bill of quantities for tenders of capital works, repair and maintenance works;
c) Conducting periodic inspection on buildings, machinery and equipment;
d) Updating estate register and housing inventory;
e) Drafting and reviewing lease agreements;
f) Compiling requests for residential houses by staff;
g) Providing secretarial services to the Branch House Committee.
h) Undertaking valuation of the Branch’s estates for defined purpose and arranging for their insurance; i) Liaising with relevant authorities for property and asset registration;
j) Maintaining fixed asset register for the Branch’s estate properties;
k) Administering movement of furniture, equipment and machinery within and outside the Bank’s premises;
l) Facilitating acquisition of plots and title deeds for the Bank’s properties;
m) Preparing period schedules for and supervising fumigation of Bank’s premises;
n) Carrying out analysis on information arising from preventive maintenance schedule and providing statistical reports on performance and maintenance works;
o) Supervising site works and preparing progress reports;
p) Initiating payment to service contractors, service providers and suppliers;
q) Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
Education/Professional Qualifications Required:
a) Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Estate Management, Building Economics or its equivalent from accredited academic institutions;
b) Proven analytical skills;
c) A good team player;
d) Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good customer service skills.

3. POSITION: IT TECHNICIAN III - 1 POST
Reports to: Branch Director.

Job Purpose:
To install, configure and maintain computers and peripherals in good working condition as well as to support users of IT systems at the Branch.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Installing, assembling and configuring computers, monitors, Laptops, Mobile devises and peripherals such sprinters, scanners and related hardware;
b) Troubleshooting and repairing computer systems hardware and software as well as other computer peripherals and ICT equipment;
c) Troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure;
d) Performing preventive maintenance of ICT equipment;
e) Providing support on applications such as MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Exchange Outlook, MS SCCM and Lync, Desktop Clients and Agents and Operating system issues to users;
f) Providing support on antivirus and other anti-malware applications on desktops, laptops and mobile devices ;
g) Performing other related duties as assigned. Education/Professional
Qualifications and Experience Required:
a) Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields;
b) PC Technician certification will be an added advantage;
